Standard Extraordinary

I know there is a truth that

Underlies the obvious,

A central common force that

Drives all things to being,

Field phenomena and matter;

Some sort of entropic,

Equallabric blooming

Of space and time distribution.

Perhaps gravity itself is

Part and parcel with proximal mass,

Causation vs. destiny,

Humanism vs. determinism.

"If the standard answer is appropriate,

Then life itself is standard."

But maybe the standard of life

Is extraordinary.
